The €80 million scheme, which will provide a new focus for retailing in Sligo, will be anchored by Dunnes Stores, Tesco's and Penney's and will comprise 30 shops, 1,000 car parking spaces, 27 apartments and 30,000 sq ft of office space.  It is hoped that construction will start in 2009 during which time 500 people will be employed at the site.  Once complete the scheme will create 500 direct and indirect jobs.
