Conference Centre Dublin Opens

The Convention Centre Dublin, officially opens its doors for business today, already has bookings for more than 150 major events, worth an estimated €110m to the local economy. Taoiseach Brian Cowen declared the centre officially open.
The CCD offers 22 flexible meeting rooms that can accommodate conferences from 8 to 8,000 delegates. The largest room is the Forum which is 2,751 sq m which is used mainly for exhibitions, but also can accommodate 3,000 delegates for a conference or 2,000 guests for an intimate banquet.
