Pop-up Christmas Market opens at Spencer Dock

The Christmas Market has been designed by Lee Bradshaw from RTE’s The Restaurant  

Irelands’ first every pop-up Christmas Market has been opened by Lee Bradshaw from RTE’s The Restaurant. The market which will run from 1st December to 24th December in Spencer Dock hosts over 40 festive food stalls offering gourmet food and a wide range of Christmas gifts ideas including jewellery, hats, arts & crafts. 
 

The Irish Wheelchair Association launched their Art and Craft Exhibition at Connaught House yesterday.

The Alto Vetro building, at Dublin’s Grand Canal Quay, has been awarded the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Housing Medal, the Institute’s premier award for housing. The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan TD, presented Shay Cleary Architects with the award at a ceremony in Dublin Castle this lunchtime during the National Housing Conference.

On Tuesday April 19th, The Art Park, Dublin's largest outdoor visual arts screen, will launch ‘Maser is Home Made’ - a six-minute unique graffiti video projection by the street artist Maser. The event will be officially launched by Christian Viveros-Fauné, co-curator of Dublin Contemporary 2011.

Google has acquired the Montevetro office building on Barrow Street from Real Estate Opportunities plc (REO). Treasury Holdings is the investment manager for REO and a majority shareholder in the company.

NAMA, which acquired the Montevetro building as security for a loan that transferred from a participating institution in April 2010, have advanced the necessary working capital to complete the development.
