It is currently concentrating its search for development and investment opportunities in the first and second tier cities in China. Foreign investment remains a strong element in China's remarkable expansion in world trade. This is in part due to the way in which the Chinese government has opened up previously closed sectors of the economy in line with World Trade Organisation requirements.
